3-Day Pirate Quest Poker Run
 |
In and around Great Falls |
Take all three days to complete this poker run. Solve the riddles of the Legend of Greybeard to find each new location.
Legend of Greybeard
Around the turn of the century, a mysterious rider came from the East. Across the endless seas of grass on a machine built by Bill and Arthur…this rider became known as “Greybeard”. Greybeard considered himself a pirate, but not in the traditional sense. Poker was his game and when he would sit down at a table, he would take your money, just a sure as if he had a knife at your throat. They say he never lost a game – his legend quickly spread across the land. People would tremble when he rode into town because they all knew that somebody was going to throw their money down and lose. He terrorized Central Montana for several years. Growing tired of the sport, he challenged the Devil, himself, to a game. With the smell of sulfur and the crash of thunder, the game lasted all night. No one knows for sure who won that game, but when morning came, Greybeard was nowhere to be seen and has never been heard from again. Legend has it that if you walk in his steps and discover his haunts, you’ll hear the roar of his mighty machine and he may invite you to sit down for a hand, and a chance to win his treasure. |
